Gemini 4 Argon, billed as the least hallucinating model, invented nonexistent code during a review

A Reddit user reports that Gemini 4's Argon model (high setting) — supposedly the least hallucinating model — straight-up invented nonexistent code while reviewing game-dev code: it hardcoded a "Pyromancy" skill lookup referencing a method never implemented in the design docs.
The author says neither recent Sol/Astra nor Opus/Fable models produced errors of that magnitude, and is sticking with Opus. A short but notable counterexample to the "lowest hallucination" positioning.
