PyTorch now runs natively on AWS Trainium with zero code changes
PyTorch · x · 2026-10-17
PyTorch officially supports AWS Trainium natively — Amazon's in-house AI chip family for next-gen deep learning training and inference. Existing PyTorch tools and workflows work as-is: no new frameworks, no code changes.
At the PyTorch Conference North America keynote, Robert Hundt, VP Distinguished Engineer at Annapurna Labs, will share how AWS met its performance and quality goals. Registration: $999 standard / $249 academic, with 25% off for teams of 10+.
