METR raised ~$71M in commitments in six months without naming donors

METR has documented ties to five of the six signatories, says it accepts no frontier-lab payments but does accept large amounts of free model access. In August it said it had raised $71M in commitments in six months without naming supporters; its 2024 tax return shows $9.1M in other contributions, with contributor info marked RESTRICTED.
