kevinnbass · x · 2026-10-17
Kevin Bass maps 45 people who have held seats on OpenAI's and Anthropic's boards, safety committees and trusts. Anthropic's Long-Term Benefit Trust directors became a board majority in April 2026; its trustees included RAND CEO Jason Matheny and ARC founder Paul Christiano, who left in April 2024 to lead AI safety at the US AI Safety Institute. 8 of the 45 have documented roles at drawn organizations and 4 stated roles at Coefficient Giving / Open Philanthropy; Dustin Moskovitz is an Anthropic board observer.
