Ex-Google/Apple team launches Glimpse, a frontier-level visual thinking model on a few hundred GPUs

yinfeiy, who spent a decade building foundation models at Google and Apple, says his small team at Elorian trained Glimpse — billed as a frontier-level multimodal model — with just a few hundred GPUs. Per Andrew Dai, existing models ace single images but fail on moving or angle-changing scenes; Glimpse is their first 'visual thinking' model with competitive frontier performance versus Astra on key public visual reasoning benchmarks. Available to try now.
