A Reddit user reports that the High/Extended thinking option for Gemini 3.8 Flash, 3.1 Pro and "4 Argon" has disappeared from the Gemini app on a paid Pro subscription. A screenshot shows the model picker listing 3.5 Flash-Lite, 3.8 Flash, 3.1 Pro and 4 Argon, with the Thinking level options reduced to only Low and Medium — suggesting Google quietly curbed deep-reasoning access for paying users. Unconfirmed whether this is a global change or a glitch.
