User reports Sol 6.1 now burns 3-4x more quota, while same-price Claude Pro uses far less
tahaygun · reddit · 2026-10-16
A Plus subscriber reports that Sol 6.1 has started consuming quota dramatically faster: 5 minutes of normal mixed coding/analysis work burned 40% of the 5-hour limit, versus 10% for the same workload a week or two earlier.
For comparison, Claude Pro at the same $20 price typically uses at most 5-10% of its daily quota on similar work. The author suspects an unannounced change to billing or model routing and asks whether others have noticed.
