Reflection AI Releases Open-Weight 501B MoE Beam for Agentic Coding on AWS
AWS ML Blog · rss · 2026-10-16
Reflection AI released Beam 1.0, an Apache 2.0 open-weight sparse MoE model (501B total / 23B active params, 1M-token effective context) for agentic coding and long-horizon tasks. Checkpoints come in BF16, FP8, and NVFP4 on Hugging Face. The AWS ML Blog details two deployment paths: a managed SageMaker JumpStart real-time endpoint, or Kubernetes-native SageMaker HyperPod Inference with SGLang/vLLM (H100 for FP8, H200, or B200 for NVFP4), plus OpenAI-compatible gateway, tiered KV caching, and intelligent routing. Launch regions are US East (N. Virginia, Ohio).
