Gemini 4 Argon lands in Perplexity, claims new SoTA on WANDR benchmark

Perplexity CEO Arav Srinivas announced that Gemini 4 Argon, described as a frontier model, is now live in Perplexity and has set a new SoTA on the Wide-And-Deep-Research (WANDR) benchmark. The model is available to all Perplexity users in both fast search and Computer (agent) modes, with official accounts noting Pro and Max subscribers get access.
