Dev builds MCP feeding Claude 3,000 real launch videos to fix samey AI output
Designer_Landscape25 · reddit · 2026-10-16
A developer found that Claude-generated launch videos all looked identical — big centered headline, cuts every few seconds, fade to black — because he gave the model zero references.
Instead of prompting, he started breaking down launch films from Apple, Linear, Notion, Stripe and others shot by shot (cuts, motion, palette, music hits) and handing Claude the breakdowns. The difference was dramatic.
He has now compiled 3,000+ film breakdowns into an MCP so Claude can search real examples, read the shot analysis and plan your video from them. A Wise-style rebuild made this way is shown in the comments.
