Satire: 19 Claude agents 'reverse-engineer' Blender, forgetting it's already open source
Dan_Jeffries1 · x · 2026-10-16
A viral r/blender satire post claims that after a weekend running 19 autonomous Claude agents and burning an irresponsible amount of tokens, the authors produced BlenderCraft — a 100% free, open-source, clean-room reimplementation of Blender with full feature parity. The punchline: their 'biggest breakthrough' was discovering a mysterious public repository containing the entire source code — the official Blender repo, since Blender has always been open source. The post mocks AI agent project marketing hype.
