Podcast host says Claude's 'go to the ER now' warning caught his cancer and likely saved his life

Podcast host Ben Wilson had been ignoring his symptoms until he entered everything into Claude, which responded: "This isn't the kind of thing like go in next week... go in right now. If you can't be seen right now, go to an emergency room." He was seen immediately and diagnosed with cancer.
Wilson says the five-year survival rate for his cancer type and spread was zero percent, with an initial prognosis of one year: "If I lived in a world where there were no cancer treatments, I probably would've been dead within a few months." He describes living two lives at once — one where he dies within a year, one where he has 20 years. Shared by David Senra, the story is circulating widely as a landmark AI-saved-a-life anecdote.
