Claude Opus 5.5 makes a pure-code Halloween animation starring bots trick-or-treating for tokens
sattvi · reddit · 2026-10-16
Reddit user sattvi asked Claude Opus 5.5 plus their anidoodle plugin to make a Halloween short: Clawd dressing up as grok, muse, hermes, openclaw, codex and other bots to go trick-or-treating for tokens, with 100+ hidden easter eggs.
The entire animation is 100% code — no image generation model, even the audio is code. The prompt was just the basic idea plus an approval checkpoint; the model handled mascot research, illustrations, storyline and jokes on its own. V1 took about an hour, two feedback iterations followed (mostly audio), and the final cut took 4 hours and roughly 2% of the weekly 20x usage limit.
