Manga Screen: open-source ComfyUI nodes turn illustrations into printed manga panels
KnowledgeBig4364 · reddit · 2026-10-16
An MIT-licensed ComfyUI node pack, Manga Screen, turns finished illustrations into authentic weekly-manga pages rather than a halftone filter over grayscale. Qwen-Image 2.1 Turbo (edit) redraws values like an inker (dark colors to solid black, skin stays paper, backgrounds become line art); Manga Finish keeps lines crisp, flattens values into deliberate areas, and prints with a real 45° AM screen including gradation tones and white lines inside blacks; plus line extraction and panel border nodes. A Manga-Lite workflow (grayscale + levels only) runs on almost anything. GitHub: ashukae/ComfyUI-MangaScreen
