First RTX Spark laptops ship: ASUS ProArt 16 tested at ¥28,999 with 64GB unified memory
APPSO · wechat · 2026-10-16
APPSO tested the first Windows laptop with NVIDIA's RTX Spark superchip — the ASUS ProArt 16, at ¥28,999 for 64GB unified memory and ¥37,999 for 128GB, marking NVIDIA's first full compute-platform entry into Windows PCs with its own ARM CPU, Blackwell RTX GPU and unified memory.
- 64GB version offers 46.7GB usable VRAM; 30B models are the sweet spot, running Qwen3 32B (NVFP4) at 55–60 tokens/s
- Thinnest 12.9mm, 1.77kg, 99.9Wh battery; sustained 27B local inference draws 80–88W, giving roughly an hour unplugged
- Microsoft WorkBuddy's Beta feature lets users download a Tencent-optimized 50B MoE local model (16GB) and route tasks to local compute for data analysis, visualization and reporting
Verdict: worthwhile for users who need daily local model runs or can't upload data to the cloud; cloud-only users should hold off.
