Ollama Lists Reflection's Beam: 501B/23B MoE With 1M Context and Tool Support
ollama · x · 2026-10-16
Ollama has listed Reflection's open model Beam (beam:cloud), targeted at agentic tool use, coding and general reasoning with an emphasis on token efficiency. It's a sparse MoE with 501B total / 23B active parameters, a 1M-token context window, text-only, primarily English.
Claimed capabilities: comparable solution quality to leading open models with 3x fewer reasoning tokens; software engineering (resolving real GitHub issues, CLI/DevOps, agentic coding harness integration); long-horizon agent tasks, MCP-based tool integration and browsing. The page includes CLI/cURL/Python/JS examples and one-click launch into Claude Code, OpenCode, Hermes Agent and OpenClaw.
