Vercel Sandbox Drives go GA: attach TBs of data in sub-second, fork instantly
cramforce · x · 2026-10-16
Vercel made Sandbox Drives generally available: attach terabytes of data to sandboxes in sub-second, read them in parallel via point-in-time read-only snapshots, and fork instantly for full read-write access. Vercel's cramforce argues snapshots over-capture and require a boot that wrecks p99/p50 latency, so for per-agent persistence, Drives — which boot from a cacheable snapshot and attach storage on demand — are the better mechanism; snapshots remain fine for shared ad-hoc images.
