Reflection AI has officially released Beam, its first open-weight model, under the Apache 2.0 license in collaboration with an ecosystem of 40+ partners including Nebius, Ollama, Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud, NVIDIA, Dell, and HPE.
The release includes:
- Weights, tokenizer, and reference implementation in BF16, FP8, and NVFP4 formats, plus a DFlash2 speculative decoding drafter
- Mirror CLI, the open-source Rust harness the team built and trained Beam on
- Weights and model card live on Hugging Face
Beam targets coding, reasoning, and agentic workloads, aimed at teams that want frontier-scale models on their own hardware with full customization rights.
