Four Gemini 4 Argon agents beat Minecraft's Ender Dragon in 27 hours
_rockt · x · 2026-10-16
In an experiment by maxencefaldor, four general-purpose Gemini 4 Argon agents were placed in a sandboxed Minecraft survival world with one goal: defeat the Ender Dragon. Sharing one world, they ran autonomously for 27 hours and wrote 2,783 self-authored programs before the dragon fell. The team previously ran the same approach on NetHack; Sebastian Ruder reposted: "after NetHackLE, now also Minecraft."
