Tencent Hunyuan open-sources Hy Memory 2.0: model, SDK and MemHub for agent memory
TencentHunyuan · x · 2026-10-16
Tencent Hunyuan released Hy Memory 2.0, a dual-system cognitive memory engine for self-evolving LLM agents, open-sourcing three pieces at once:
- The framework splits memory by task scene: hierarchical long-term cognitive memory for Chat, a two-layer fact + reusable-experience memory for Working, and version-evolution diff-chain tracking for Coding.
- The Hy-Memory-30B-A3B model claims #1 open-source on 4 benchmarks and reportedly beats Opus 5 across major frameworks (official claim, unverified).
- MemHub (CLI + Mac app) syncs memory across 10+ AI tools; SDK and model links are live on GitHub.
Note the repo is brand new (12 stars, 1 commit), so benchmark claims await third-party validation.
