RP1: Fully open-source humanoid robot platform covers CAD to reinforcement learning
neurosp1ke · x · 2026-10-16
RoboParty released RP1, a fully open-source full-stack platform for agentic humanoids (166 stars, GPL-3.0), with bilingual docs.
The platform spans the entire robot development chain:
- Inspectable hardware: mechanical CAD, schematics, PCB layouts, Gerber files, BOM and assembly docs
- Extensible software: Linux BSP, communication, device interfaces, robot descriptions and deployment modules
- Explorable intelligence: locomotion training, motion imitation, tracking and behavior-model projects
It's positioned as a shared foundation built to be understood and extended — developers can reproduce a full build or develop their own control and learning workflows on top of it.
