Brain-Computer Interface Chip Startup Shenxin Tech Raises Tens of Millions, 1024-Channel Chip Taped Out

创业邦 · wechat · 2026-10-16

Shenxin Tech, founded in 2024 and incubated from Hainan University's brain-chip neuroengineering team, is targeting China's shortage in invasive brain-computer interface (BCI) chips. Founder Yin Ming has over 20 years of BCI experience, including senior engineering at Blackrock Neurotech. China currently lacks domestically stable, low-power, high-bandwidth invasive neural signal acquisition chips, relying heavily on imports from US firms like Intan.

Products: A "read, write, transmit" chip matrix including the 128-channel SX-R128S4 acquisition/stimulation chip, 32-channel SX-S32 neuromodulation chip, and SX-WD60 wireless transmission chip. Its flagship 1024-channel acquisition-plus-wireless-transmission chip has completed tape-out and packaging tests, drawing just over ten milliwatts — about 1/14 of competitors. Over 40 customers served.

Funding: Completed tens of millions RMB angel+ round in July 2026, with Zhongying Ventures, Yuanhang Capital, Tianying Capital participating.
