Agent spots invalid SPF record and autonomously fixes it in Vercel DNS via browser
dkundel · x · 2026-10-16
mxstbr shares (via dkundel's RT) that his AI agent (screenshots show a Minimax-powered assistant) noticed his main domain's SPF record was invalid due to an extra space. After explaining the issue and asking permission, it used the connected Mac browser to update the DNS in Vercel — removing the deprecated CloudMailin, authorizing only Google, and verifying the fix across authoritative nameservers and Google/Cloudflare DNS. A striking example of end-to-end agentic ops, and of how much latitude agents now get with production config.
