Per reporter Joseph Cox, Accenture has told employees it will reimburse only $29/month for Claude use, leaving some staff who spend up to $1,000/month scrambling to keep access — a sign of a continuing corporate crackdown on AI spending.
As one commentator noted: if consulting firms like Accenture, whose entire business model is generating smooth-sounding text, can't justify $29/month per employee for Claude/ChatGPT, basically no one can.
