NVIDIA App update turns on AI agent control by default — here's how to switch it off
ssh4net · x · 2026-10-16
NVIDIA App's latest auto-update quietly added an "AI Agents and App Connections" feature that lets AI agents view and configure supported settings via a built-in MCP server — enabled by default. The poster shared a screenshot urging users to disable it manually under Settings → Features.
The UI also includes a "Connect your Agent" copy-paste prompt for linking agents to the app, plus MCP server details under Advanced Details. Users who don't want agents tweaking driver or graphics settings should check this toggle.
