NVIDIA App update enables AI agent control with permissive rights by default
ssh4net · x · 2026-10-16
Developer @AgustinCordes confirmed the NVIDIA App auto-update silently enables "Allow Agents to control NVIDIA App" by default, granting AI agents permissive rights via a built-in MCP server. The server lets agents view installed games, launch titles, apply driver settings, record gameplay, and adjust laptop performance modes. He flags it as a privacy invasion and security risk, advising users to disable the setting manually.
