A demo clip reshared by Elon Musk shows the new Tesla Roadster lifting off with rocket thrusters, hovering and flying over a stage next to a Semi truck. The stunt confirms the long-teased SpaceX thruster package for the Roadster, which Musk previously claimed could hop and even fly short distances. Commenters note the thrust would be powerful enough to knock over anyone standing nearby.
