OpenRouter data shows that within roughly 6 days of Opus 5.5's release, Anthropic rapidly reclaimed token usage and spend share from OpenAI. The chart tracks daily share from Sep 1 to Oct 11: OpenAI models previously held over 50%, but Opus 5.5 plus Haiku 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 pushed Anthropic's share sharply upward, most visibly on the spend side.
