Before Tesla's Roadster demo, a blogger predicted it would be a ducted-fan car like the McMurtry, with enough ground suction to drive upside down, plus cold-gas thrusters to achieve sub-1-second 0-60. After seeing the car do flips, he expressed surprise and doubts about production practicality, expecting lots of wrecked cars if it ships.
