Chile's C³ index: 65% of firms train staff on AI but only 8% use it to innovate
robertonappe · x · 2026-10-16
Chile's 2025 C³ Creativity & Innovation Ranking hit a record 67 points, up just 1 from last year. Firms score high on challenging work (90), openness (82) and leadership (75), but crash on time (28) and resources/incentives (48), with executives spending fewer monthly hours on innovation than before. The AI gap is stark: 65% of companies run AI training, yet only 8% apply AI to innovation. The author argues culture — not tech or talent — blocks innovation, and AI has compressed the penalty for delay from years to months.
