75-80% of my AI requests now go through Dots: a power user's month-long review
nickbaumann_ · x · 2026-10-16
simonsmith shares his experience migrating AI workloads from ChatGPT to Dots: 75-80% of his requests now run through it, with the sole exception of learning in chat, where he finds GPT-6 Instant with Dynamic UI unmatched.
His Dots workload includes: building and maintaining a Spanish vocabulary app, keeping an AI comparison doc updated, delegating and monitoring Slack tasks with auto-summarized replies, researching contacts and drafting call briefs, analyzing token data into shareable decks, watching token consumption with alerts, and replying to comments in Pages in Space.
His core point: ChatGPT could do most of this, but Dots removes the need to manage each thread individually — he just fires tasks at it from wherever he is.
