Box CEO Aaron Levie: agent wallets finally make micropayments a good business model
kleffew94 · x · 2026-10-16
Box CEO Aaron Levie argues AI agents with wallets unlock new internet business models. Proprietary data providers like Bloomberg could charge a penny per transaction to hundreds of millions of agents — far better than serving 20M knowledge workers. Tools and APIs will follow: give agents a budget to call any API. The quoted "Wallet Wars" article adds that agents (Instinct, OpenAI Dots, Meta Muse) are becoming the new UX for $7T in ecommerce.
