Artificial Analysis to add 4-bit formats and Splash Metal engine to agent benchmark
ArtificialAnlys · x · 2026-10-16
Artificial Analysis is expanding its local agent benchmark to more weight formats and runtimes, including smaller 4-bit formats like IQ4XS and Inco AI's Splash — a Metal engine for Apple Silicon using DFlash speculative decoding. Early tests show faster completion on some systems; results will be published once they pass accuracy checks.
