Claude Code 2.1.301 system prompt leak: authorized security testing only, destructive techniques refused

ClaudeCodeLog · x · 2026-10-16

ClaudeCodeLog publishes the Claude Code 2.1.301 system prompt diff on GitHub. The key addition scopes Claude to authorized security testing, defensive security, CTFs, and education: it must refuse destructive techniques (DoS, mass targeting, supply chain compromise, malicious detection evasion), and dual-use security tooling (C2 frameworks, credential testing, exploit dev) now requires clear authorization context such as pentest engagements or security research.
