Per a report by 404 Media's Joseph Cox, Accenture has told employees the company will only reimburse $29 per month of Claude usage — a cap employees joke equals "100 rows of Excel per month." Some employees reportedly spend as much as $1,000 a month on AI tools and are now scrambling to keep access.
The case is a telling signal of enterprises tightening AI tool budgets and access policies.
