TeamFusion: preference-based AI proxies debate to preserve minority views in team decisions
burkov · x · 2026-10-16
Andriy Burkov highlights research on AI-assisted team decisions: open-ended choices involve competing priorities, and simple AI summaries can flatten disagreement and drop minority perspectives.
TeamFusion creates a preference-based proxy for each participant, runs a structured discussion among proxies, and converts it into a draft summary or design that teams critique and iterate on. Tested on synthesizing public comments (500 simulated teams from comments on ten questions) and revising advertising designs, showing more useful and inclusive outcomes.
