According to an internal memo reported by 404 Media's Joseph Cox, Accenture has told many employees — some of whom had been spending as much as $1,000 monthly on AI tools — that it will now spend only $29 per person per month on Claude. The drastic cut highlights shrinking enterprise AI tool budgets and stands in stark contrast to the "arm every employee with AI" narrative.
