OpenAI Ships GPT-Live-1.1 Voice Model With Six New Languages

OpenAI has upgraded Voice Mode across ChatGPT, Codex and dots with a new model, GPT-Live-1.1, per leak account TestingCatalog:
- New voices in French, German, Hindi, Mexican Spanish, Korean, and Japanese
- The constant "Checking..." interruption during sessions — especially annoying in vibe coding — appears to be gone
- API support is reportedly coming soon
Not yet officially announced by OpenAI.
