Agent Risk Depends on Access and Autonomy, Not Just Visibility
moniquejmorrow · x · 2026-10-16
Continuation of the AI agent security thread: about half of organizations report employees accessing public SaaS GenAI agent platforms, but visibility is only the beginning. An agent's risk depends on what it can access and how much autonomy it has — an agent working with public information is fundamentally different from one that can act across sensitive systems. As AI becomes part of everyday work, organizations need to know which agents exist, what they can reach, and how their behavior changes over time.
