Datadog released Scout 1.0, a post-trained SRE-focused model. On the public SREGym benchmark (90 faults with the Stratus harness), Scout 1.0 xhigh resolves 80 of 90 — competitive with the best frontier models at 2x+ lower cost, while Scout 1.0 medium beats GLM-5.3 at more than 4x lower cost. SREGym author Xu Tianyin congratulated the team and praised the informative tech report.
