tianyin_xu · x · 2026-10-16
Datadog introduces Scout 1.0, its first model post-trained for investigating production incidents. Trained via reinforcement learning on realistic simulations built from real-world incidents and production telemetry, Scout rewards accurate, evidence-backed root causes. Datadog says it matches frontier-model investigation quality at a fraction of the cost, and it shows strong results on the SREGym SRE benchmark.
