Brave's Leo adds end-to-end encrypted chat with GLM via attested TEE

Brave announced that its browser AI assistant Leo now offers end-to-end encrypted chat with GLM 5.3 Flash. Each prompt is encrypted in the browser before leaving the device, and only an attested Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) can decrypt it, so the provider cannot read conversations. Brave bills it as verifiable, industry-leading privacy.
