OSVerify system finds two substantial issues in OpenAI's quantum geometric Langlands paper

A team including Fan Nie and James Zou used their verification system OSVerify to audit the October 4 version of OpenAI's "Global quantum geometric Langlands at irrational level" and found two substantial issues: (1) the absolute pairing fails to preserve direct sums, with a counterexample inside the paper's stated parameter class; (2) constant fibres do not imply the claimed global scalar identification — an SL₂ test shows global cohomology dimension 2 instead of 4. OSVerify also proposed a repair for the second issue, approved by its internal review. The authors stress the paper's main theorem is not shown to be false.
