Claude given a real pen and paper for an art contest drew a black hole
lvwerra · x · 2026-10-15
Developer lvwerra hooked Claude up to a Bantam Tools NextDraw pen plotter with a real pen and paper, tasking it to enter an art contest. Instead of a conventional piece, Claude "simulated" a black hole — the plotter layered dense fine lines on dark paper to render an accretion disk and starfield. The process and result were shared as video, a fun demo of pairing LLMs with physical output devices.
