Dev builds Copilot Isles: a pirate game teaching the GitHub Copilot beginners course
DanWahlin · x · 2026-10-15
DanWahlin revived a personal project called Copilot Isles: a pirate-themed learning game built with three.js where each island teaches a chapter of the new GitHub Copilot app for Beginners course through puzzles, quizzes, and sea battles.
- Three islands so far: Anchorage Cay, Port Meridian, and Thousand-Bough Isle
- Built over several weeks of nights and weekends; coming to GitHub soon
A fun example of gamifying course content into a 3D world with AI-assisted development.
