ServiceNow Launches AI Passport: Cryptographically Signed Credentials for Every AI Agent
shashib · x · 2026-10-15
ServiceNow announced AI Passport, giving every AI agent a cryptographically signed credential stating its identity, capabilities, and owner. Checks run at runtime, including with third-party agents and MCP servers — if an agent drifts out of scope, the Control Tower can redirect, restrict, or kill it, with NVIDIA OpenShell as a launch partner. The same release lets employees build Productivity Assistants and Routines in EmployeeWorks under admin limits, and ToolSmith turns natural-language descriptions into enterprise tools in minutes. AI Passport and cost tools are expected in Q4; EmployeeWorks pieces are in controlled availability now.
