Nvidia quietly reclassified SPCX as 'Hyperscale', signaling deeper neocloud reliance
RihardJarc · x · 2026-10-15
Nvidia reclassified SPCX from its 'AI Clouds, Industrials & Enterprise' (ACIE) category to 'Hyperscale', confirmed by Jensen Huang on the BG2 pod and traceable back to the Q2 FY27 CFO disclosure.
Excluding SPCX, true hyperscaler revenue is likely below the headline 55% of segment revenue, implying Nvidia's demand is more exposed to SPCX and neoclouds than reported — suggesting Meta, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon have shifted more demand to their in-house ASIC programs than assumed.
