Tim Cook confirmed in Shanghai that Apple Intelligence will launch in beta in China by end of October, with Live Translation, Writing Tools and Clean Up in the first batch — new Siri AI excluded. Mark Gurman reports the full version arrives with iOS 27.3 in December, still lacking Image Playground and latest Genmoji. Regulatory filings show the foldable iPhone Duo's license now lists Apple Intelligence, Tongyi Wanxiang and Qwen model registrations, with the Apple model cleared by the CAC on July 8 — clearing the path for Apple's AI entry into the Chinese market after two years.
