Wuxi-based interconnect chip maker Zhongxingwei unveiled its full-stack platform, including China's first domestic PCIe 6.0 Switch (C82-4G, 144 lanes at 64GT/s per lane) and first 800G multi-protocol AI NIC with integrated 48-lane PCIe Gen6 switch targeting Hygon-based supernode architectures. Key numbers: 400k+ chips shipped in 2025 with over 1B RMB revenue, 800k+ lifetime units, DPPM under 100; its RAID solution claims up to 47% higher write bandwidth than Broadcom's, and its PCIe switch can replace Broadcom's PEX89104. The piece asks whether a "Chinese Broadcom" can emerge in high-end interconnect.
