Sprites slammed as "uninspired" turn out to be by professional human artists
Angaisb_ · x · 2026-10-15
Angaisb pushed back on TrenchCoatArt calling a set of pixel-art sprites "pretty uninspired and unclean": the images are actually made by professional human game artists (hourglasses, orbs, weapons, crops, etc.). The point: such criticism "is never about the quality or the 'soul'" — a jab at reflexive dismissal of anything that looks AI-generated, regardless of the work itself.
